Fol. ii. On the dream of standing water
A dreamer who beholds still water held in a vessel is shown a measure of his sustenance, kept and gathered. So said Ibn Sīrīn — and the elders who came after refined it: clear water means lawful provision; murky, that which is troubled at its source.

Grounded in tradition

Every reading begins with the classical compendia — Ibn Sīrīn, al-Nābulusī, Ibn Kathīr — not vibes.

Personal, not generic

We don't publish a dictionary. We read your dream, in your context, with your details intact.

Reviewed before sent

A person on our team reads every interpretation. Errors caught privately, before they reach you. We do not send raw AI output.

Honest about limits

If a dream is ambiguous, we say so. Not every dream carries a message; the tradition itself teaches this.

The process

Four steps, one careful tradition.

I

You write your dream

In your own words. Add the time of night, your state of mind, anything that felt notable. The form takes about three minutes.

II

An AI drafts a reading

Our AI is grounded in the classical compendia. It produces a first reading and surfaces the symbols that matter, with sources cited.

III

Our team reviews

A person on our team reads your dream and the AI's draft. They edit for accuracy, clarity, and care. We do not send first drafts.

IV

Returned to your inbox

Within twenty-four hours you receive a written interpretation, sources cited, on a private page only you can open.

I dreamt I was standing on a shoreline at first light. The tide had pulled far out and left behind a wide stretch of wet sand. I was searching for something specific but couldn't remember what. A small crescent of moon was still visible in the morning sky.

What grounds the reading

The compendia we draw from.

No mystery box, no vague "ancient wisdom." When we make a claim about a symbol, we say where it comes from.

Honest questions

Ask before you submit.

Yes, in part. Each interpretation is drafted by an AI model grounded in the classical sources we name above, then read and refined by a person on our team before it reaches you. We do not send raw AI output. We are transparent about how this works.

We work primarily within the framework of Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn's Tafsīr al-Aḥlām and the works that followed in its line — al-Nābulusī's Taʿṭīr al-Anām and the Quranic foundation of Sūrat Yūsuf as commented on by Ibn Kathīr. We are explicit when we step outside it.

Some dreams are simply the residue of the day, and the tradition is candid about this. When that's our reading, we say so plainly, refund you, and decline to invent significance.

Submissions are encrypted at rest. We do not run third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts on the pages where you submit your dream or read your interpretation. We do not sell your data. The interpretation page is reachable only by a private signed link sent to your email.

Yes. If your interpretation does not land for you, email us within seven days and we will refund you, no questions asked.
